A little bit about me
I’m a Toronto-based UX & content designer from a multidisciplinary background — in law, literature & consumer goods sales. I'm currently designing at SickKids, managing sickkids.ca and mySickKids intranet. I’m passionate about delivering designs that delight users, grow the organization and drive business results simultaneously. My superpower is my multidisciplinary knowledge, thinking and skillset.
I'm formally educated in UX and have first-hand industry experiences. I hold a Master of Information (UX Design) from the University of Toronto.
I worked at Revvity Health Sciences (previously PerkinElmer), growing the company design system and researching + designing digital products.
I earned both a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Hong Kong. After graduating, I worked at P&G, serving as a Key Account Manager. It was during this time I drew my first wireframe without realizing I was rapid prototyping before I set foot in UX. As an Account Manager, I had to negotiate plan-o-gram space and co-design shelving units with my retail outlet client. I grew extremely passionate about designing spaces for shoppers. The next thing I knew, I wanted to work in UX, and now it's come full circle.

About my screen-free time
When I’m not at work, I enjoy pottery 🥣, reading 📚 (I love Monocle Magazine), travelling ✈️ (current on my 32nd country visited), music 🎶, (classical, jazz, anything), and spending time with animals 🐶. Plus, I’m a huge film nerd 🎥 (favourite director: David Lynch).

I’m open to any conversations and questions about design, films, pottery and last but not least, fostering dogs for a rescue.
